Jak’s Den is our safe place whenever we need it. B’s confidence has grown since being part of the Team Jak family. Sign up for all sessions is through our exclusive Team Jak App. Also on offer are our Twilight Sessions; just for the grown ups, which feature relaxing activities such as mindfulness and yoga, quiet time to chat with other parents and always a wealthy supply of cuppas and cakes! While our team focuses on the children, parents and carers have the opportunity to share their experiences and offer one another support over a cuppa. Hosted in various venues across Glasgow our sessions and outings give young people and their families the chance to come together in peaceful surroundings to connect and recharge and to have fun with peers.

Jak Trueman was a normal happy healthy teenager until August 2014, when he was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. They brought us in and showed us other bereaved parents who then became our road map for surviving this.
